Ashley McBryde explains in detail why she hasn’t spoken to Dolly Parton in 10 years.
McBryde opened up to Fox News Digital about what happened at Parton’s lake house, which was under renovation at the time. According to McBryde, she was caring for Parton when a bagel she was biting in the microwave caught fire and started a small fire.
McBryde was able to put out the fire, but not before it damaged the walls of one of Parton’s bedrooms, something she is still ashamed of.
“It was about getting bitten by a bagel and a microwave that was on fire and I took out the microwave and ran outside so that everything would be fine, except for the room with the wall, which I was there to take care of the child. because I was there. It’s embarrassing,” McBryde explained. “I haven’t spoken to him since. He gave me a microwave, and that was the last conversation.”

It’s the behavior that you have to nail, that’s the most important thing because you’re doing it in front of your friends, and they know when you mess up, so I try to focus on that. so I’m not like [nervous]. It’s always fun to attend, it’s always great to be nominated, but to be part of the CMA, wooh. “

McBryde was happy that Brooks will be the one to give the story, saying “Garth has been very good to me. He didn’t have to be, and I didn’t ask him to be, he is naturally a great person,” to remember being. he was very confused that morning on the show, saying that he was “ready to talk about the new record” when he “saw Brooks appear on the screen.”
“Being invited to be a member of the Grand Ole Opry is the best thing that can happen to anyone in country music, and I’m so happy and excited that Garth raised his hand and said, ‘I want to be the person who lets him know that he’s part of the family,'” he said. McBryde.
