Bank donation supports breast cancer awareness

Rocky Mountain Bank has donated $10,000 to five local organizations in Montana in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The bank contributes to St. Vincent Healthcare’s Eva Project, Cancer Support Communities’ Restorative Mountains Program, Logan Health’s Save A Sister Fund, Clark Fork Valley Hospital and Missoula Community Health Foundation’s Ava Nichole Breast Health Fund. These donations are made through the bank’s Pink Ribbon debit card program.

Through its special Pink Ribbon debit card program, Rocky Mountain Bank contributes up to $10,000 annually to non-profit organizations involved in breast cancer prevention or patient care in Montana. The funds are based on the number of Pink Ribbon debit card transactions by Rocky Mountain Bank customers.

This money has been distributed to the following organizations

• $3,000 to St. Vincent Healthcare – Billings

• $2,500 to Cancer Support Communities – Bozeman

• $2,000 to Logan Health Logan Health’s Save A Sister Fund. The initiative’s goals are to improve women’s access to mammograms, educate the community, and increase breast cancer awareness and prevention through outreach. Save a Sister also supports postoperative durables that are not typically paid for by insurance. All funds remain in the local Flathead Valley area.

• $1,000 to Missoula Community Health Foundation

RE/MAX Whitefish is entering its fifth year of “Kids Lid”. The businesses are partnering with Sportman’s Ski Haus, Mann Mortgage, Insured Titles and Smith to provide free ski and snowboard helmets to school-aged children in Flathead Valley.

The ultimate goal is to keep the kids safe while enjoying the slopes. With costs rising, parents don’t have to worry about safety while kids enjoy the mountain. Kalispell and Great Falls Joint Management of Morrison-Maierle

Led by Kalispell’s current operations manager, Ryan Jones PE, the new regional division will maximize the resources and talent of both offices to better serve Morrison-Maierle’s clients.
