How much snow can Cincinnati expect?

Just as one winter storm exits, another takes aim at Greater Cincinnati. Accumulating snow brings the potential for snow-covered roads by midweek. LIVE RADAR // LATEST WEATHER // CLOSURES & DELAYS Another strong and potentially high-impact storm is expected late Tuesday and early Wednesday. Accumulating snow moves in after midnight and accumulates quickly as the snow piles up. Most of the snow will accumulate before sunrise Wednesday morning. A chance of sleet or rain will change around 8 AM in Cincinnati on Wednesday morning. A line of rain/mixed rain will run from south to north from mid to late morning. All the rain will be in the afternoon, except for NW southern Indiana, where all the snow may last until the afternoon. Snow totals will be higher the further north/northwest you live. Around Greater Cincinnati, most get 2-4”. Areas to the north/northwest could see closer to 4-5″. Expect snowy roads and messy travel Wednesday morning. Roads should begin to slowly improve Wednesday afternoon as we see some light rain/rain. Some aftershocks are possible again after 5pm on Wednesday. Showers and snow showers are expected on Thursday and Friday. Our next chance for moisture comes on Sunday in the form of either rain or a wintry mix. This could have an impact on the Bengals AFC Championship watch parties.
