A wild brawl broke out during the Ole Miss-LSU women’s soccer game on Sunday before players were ejected.

The incident occurred during the second overtime of an SEC Tournament game with LSU’s Maya Gordon and Ole Miss’ Ramsey Davis trying to catch the ball near the touchline.

Gordon got to Davis before stealing the possession, and the Ole Miss junior wrapped his opponent around the waist in a desperate attempt to get the ball back.

Before two of Gordon’s teammates intervened with No.8 Shannon Cook, the umpire tried unsuccessfully to separate the two before Tiger pulled his colleague aside.

Coaches from both teams had to step in to finally break up the brawl before the referee showed red cards to Davies, Gordon and Noel.

With two players ejected, things went downhill for the Tigers as they eventually suffered a 3-0 loss to Ole Miss.

All three players are said to have been suspended for one game for their part in the brawl.
