Matthew Perry gets by with a little help from his own Friends.
Monday episode of SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Livehost Andy Cohen asked the actor about his residual income from the popular sitcom in which he played Chandler Bing.
“You talked to Diane Sawyer about the reboot Friends over the past few years, and it made me wonder,” Cohen, 54, began Friends The checks that came in today, would you call them a lot of checks? Or would you say it’s a scam at this point?”

In response, a Friends, Lovers and the Biggest Scary Thing the writer, 53, laughed, “Well, yesterday I bought an Iowa.”
When Cohen asked if the checks were “a lot,” Perry replied: “They’re not bad.”
The actor explained, “And it comes as a saying: ‘You just made this up.’ And I go, ‘Oh, great.’ “

Continuing the joke, Cohen said, “I heard you have an eye on Colorado.” Perry replied, “Yes I did. But The Rock got that.”
The star is perhaps best known for playing Chandler friends, which ran for 10 seasons on NBC from 1994 to 2004 and also starred Courteney Cox, Jennifer Aniston, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, and David Schwimmer.

In an interview with Perry and Cohen, he also talked about his dating life, telling the host that he “can’t be single.”
After briefly touching on her past experiences with dating apps, she said she prefers offline dating. “I’m going forever,” Cohen said. “It’s not the way to meet people, I don’t think. I don’t know how to meet people, but this is not the way to do it.”
As for whether or not she wants a partner, Perry said, “It would be nice. But it’s not necessary.”
“You know, I wouldn’t want to be with someone who drinks so much that you don’t recognize them,” Perry said. “That wouldn’t be good… But I don’t have any rules about that.”
