Meghan Markle and Prince Harry cut ties with officials who played a major role in Archewell’s major projects in 2022.
The Duke, 38, and Duchess, 41, of Sussex have decided to part ways with Oscar-winning producer Ben Browning, who is overseeing the couple’s record-breaking Netflix documentary, “Harry & Meghan,” Variety reported Friday.
According to the book, the deal that Mr. Browning – who was the head of internal affairs at Archewell Productions – was about to end. The reason why it was not reproduced was not given.
Meanwhile, Fara Taylor, the marketing campaign lead for “Harry & Meghan,” Markle’s podcast, “Archetypes,” and Harry’s memoir, “Spare,” is also planning to “change her career” later this year.
Neither Browning nor Taylor will be replaced, the announcement said.
Ashley Hansen, Markle and Harry’s global press secretary, said of the release in a statement, “Ben and Fara have helped create and execute many high-profile and popular projects over the years.
“They have expertly delivered events and promotions that have exceeded expectations and been recognized in the cultural zeitgeist.”
Archewell’s communications director went on to say of the recent hosts, “They have played a huge role in helping to tell the story of the Duke and Duchess so far and the family are very grateful for their support in such important ‘look back’ careers. , as they are waiting now.”
Hansen’s team should also see some changes where Miranda Barbot was appointed as director of the global communications and press secretary, and Maren Thomas was appointed as manager of communications, for Diversity.
Additional hires include Serena Regan as head of podcasts and Shauna Nep as executive director of the philanthropic organization, Archewell Foundation.
The major reorganization of the Archewell organization comes as Harry and Markle reorganize their team.
Royal announced in December 2022 that it would “lead its entire team” after Archewell president Mandana Dayani stepped down.
Dayani’s exit was said to be “planning”.
Page Six also made a special mention during Markle’s podcast creator Rebecca Sananès’ move on.
Sources previously told us that Sananès’ departure was part of the Sussexes’ wider family plans.
