Police spokesperson updates on Walmart shooting
A 16-year-old boy has been identified as one of the victims of a mass shooting at a Chesapeake Walmart store.
Fernando Chavez Jr. was fatally shot and at least four others were injured along with five others when gunman Andre Bing opened fire at a department store on Tuesday.
A chilling “manifesto” was found on a gunman’s cell phone in which he outlined his motive for a mass shooting in Virginia just before Thanksgiving.
Witnesses described how the horrific events unfolded in an employee break room as investigators try to piece together a motive.
A law enforcement source told local media that Bing was “upset” over the recent change in employment status and complained that he was being “harassed” by fellow officers.
The former employee also said he is paranoid that the government is watching him and doesn’t like being recorded. A witness claims to have seen him target some people during the attack.
President Joe Biden said yesterday that the shootings, as well as last weekend’s massacre at an LGBT+ club in Colorado Springs, underscore the need to outlaw “sick” assault weapons without social value.
The gunman’s phone “manifest” reveals a possible motive
A chilling “manifesto” was found on the cellphone of Walmart gunman Andre Bing, in which he allegedly outlined his motivation for the mass shooting that killed six employees and left at least four others dead.
The source of the law enforcement agencies said 10 from you In the document, Bing, 31, described being “upset” over a recent change in employment status and complained that he was being “harassed” by fellow officers.
Officials have not confirmed the existence of the manifesto and have yet to reveal a motive for Tuesday night’s massacre.

Were there any warning signs in the Walmart shooting?
A Walmart employee claims the employee who allegedly carried out a horrific mass shooting at a Chesapeake, Virginia store had “issues” with other co-workers and was “laughing” when he opened fire on his victims.
The gunman, who has since been identified as Andre Bing, carried out the attack with a handgun before turning the gun on himself, police said.
A witness, who has not been named, told local network 10 On Your Side that the shooting happened as 14 employees were sitting in a meeting room preparing to go on shift.

The motive for the mass shooting is still unclear
Police in Chesapeake, Virginia, said they spent Thanksgiving trying to figure out why Walmart manager Andre Bing fatally shot six of his co-workers before turning the gun on himself.

Biden opposes ‘sick’ semi-automatic weapons
President Joe Biden has condemned the spread of semi-automatic weapons and the fact that some parts of the country are not enforcing so-called “red flag laws” meant to deter people who pose a danger to themselves and others.
Mr. Biden said after serving pumpkin pies to firefighters in Nantucket on Thanksgiving Day. The president’s remarks came after a mass shooting in Colorado Springs that left five people dead at the Club Q gay bar and a shooting at a Walmart in Chesapeake, Virginia, that left six dead.
“The idea that we’re still allowing the purchase of semi-automatic weapons is sick,” he told reporters.
“Just sick. It has no social redeeming value. Zero. Nobody. There is no single justification for this other than the profits of the arms manufacturers.”

Hundreds of people gathered at a vigil to pay their respects to the 16-year-old victim of the Walmart shooting in Chesapeake, Virginia, who has been identified by authorities.
